The soban
Soban is the small individual table Korean meals were traditionally served on. At Minari it means your own dining set: a main, a soup, rice, and a spread of the chef's side dishes, all put together so the flavours sit in harmony.
Most mains come as a single plate or as a soban set. The set is the way to go if you're hungry, and regulars say it's generous enough to take leftovers home.

Read them all on GoogleLiterally my favourite place. Everything is always so delicious and moorish. I wish we lived closer. My go to is the chilli tofu soban with mandu on side. The home made sodas are also a really nice touch served with cute crocheted coasters. If I had to sum this place up in a few words it would be “delicious”, “cute” and “the best”. Vegan heaven. Added bonus of lovely people. I always look forward to the next time.

I got the Gal-bi Ssam Soban set — great value and generous enough that I had leftovers to take away. We also ordered the Pork Gom-Tang. Really tasty flavours, beautiful presentation, and the staff were genuinely nice and welcoming. Popular lunch spot for good reason.

A great cafe to visit in Gold Coast. It serves a variety of Korean cuisines, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered the mandu, gimbob, and tok-bo-ki. The gimbob tastes great, with variety of taste and texture, and the rice was cooked perfectly. The tok-bo-ki also has nice flavours, especially the spicy gochujang sauce, and the rice cakes have nice chewy texture. The best meal we had was the mandu. The dumplings had nice crisp texture, with flavourful fillings. The broth that comes with it elevated the whole dish. The staff here are also very friendly and welcoming, and the foods came out relatively quick. The place has a nice cosy ambience. It is slightly small, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, highly recommend this cafe in Gold Coast.
